What is the responsibility of the Charter
Eligibility Declaration Contact (CED Contact)?
In the case where the CED contact is not
the registrant, the CED contact and registrant
will be jointly accountable for the domain
registration, responsible for responding
to dispute resolution proceedings and jointly
be defined as the Registered Name Holder.
Nevertheless, the Registrant (Registrant
Contact) will remain the "operating
contact" for a domain, including for
domain transfers and the reappointment of
a CED Contact for a domain.

registration and renewal?
The term of registration during Sunrise
and Landrush is 2-10 years while the term
of registration and renewal is 1-10 years
starting from Go Live.

The .ASIA renewal grace period is 40 days.
Partner may renew the domain by follow steps

- Login to your Partner Central at http://www.webnic.cc;
- Click on Quick Start Registration;
- Under Renewal section, click on the extension
that you want to renew;
- Enter your domain name and follow the
steps to renew your domain name

Does the first-come, first-served

The first-come, first-served basis only applies

the period specified will be considered to
be received at the same time.

If there are multiple applications
for a .ASIA domain name, who will be the winner?
If a domain name received more than one qualified
application, an auction will be held between
the two or more qualified applicants. Auctions
will be mainly conducted online and with a
high level of transparency for bidders. WHOIS
information and information relating to the
qualified applicant will be provided to all
eligible applicants before commencement of
the auction.
If a domain name received only one qualified
application, the domain will be allocated
to the applicant accordingly.

When does the Sunrise Registration
period starts?
Sunrise 1 (SR1) and Sunrise (SR2a) will begin
concurrently on October 9, 2007. SR2a application
period will end on October 30, 2007. SR2b,
SR2c and SR3 will commence on November 13,
2007, and close on January 15, 2008. We are
accepting your Sunrise and Landrush pre-registration
application; partners may submit the application
via partner central on September 10, 2007.
